What’s the best part about your job at LEAP?
I enjoy staying on top of the latest developments in the field of energy efficiency as well as hearing the stories of the 1000+ home and business owners we have helped. As someone who is always on high alert for news hooks and marketing opportunities, every day brings a treasure trove to sift through and share with the world.
What do you do when you’re not working?
As a mom to a toddler, I’m running around on minimal sleep taking a million photos of his every “first.”
Tell us about your house.Â
We still don’t own a house, so we’re stuck in that renter’s conundrum of paying obscene energy bills in a house that needs some serious work. We check out open houses often, and I always do research and ask questions about energy-related items.
When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?Â
For the most part I wanted to be a marine biologist so I could swim with the dolphins all day. I also went through an architecture phase where I drew up plans for tons of houses. Can’t say they were energy efficient, but they all had really cool skylights, spiral staircases and indoor/outdoor pools.
