Charlottesville, Virginia – The Local Energy Alliance Program (LEAP) along with Weatherseal Insulation kicked off a month-long project to weatherize all 200 units of Hearthwood Apartments, an multifamily workforce housing complex in Charlottesville managed by Cannon Properties. The project will help homeowners in need with lower energy bills as winter approaches.
The work is being conducted as part of Dominion Virginia Power’s expanded EnergyShare program which LEAP implements locally. In the coming months LEAP will also be weatherizing Casa Alma and Hope House, non-profit shelters for families in crisis. Read more.
