LEAP House Party in Arlington a Success

 

Thanks to Rich and Lisa Layman of Arlington who opened up their home last month to show their friends and neighbors the recent energy efficiency improvements made to their home as winners of the LEAP Home Energy Makeover Contest held earlier this year.  The Laymans were keenly aware that their 71 year old home had energy efficiency issues, including wide temperature fluctuations throughout their home and odd smells coming from their basement. Despite a hot summer day, Rich and Lisa were able to show about 25 of their friends and neighbors new attic insulation, air sealing and encapsulation of their crawl space in their very comfortable home.
