More than 50 local business representatives from around the Charlottesville area joined us in early October for the Better Business Challenge’s first lunch n learn focused on lighting.
And we expect the same kind of crowd when we head to UVA’s Darden School of Business next Thursday 10/24 for the second lunch n learn: “BUILDING RESILIENCE INTO YOUR OPERATIONS: Lessons from Businesses that have Weathered the Storm.”
What qualities make a business thrive in spite of tough times?Are sustainably-minded businesses more resilient? Darden Professor Jared Harris will answer these questions and more. Lisa Horanyi, from Rideshare, will also discuss ways businesses and employees can reduce their transportation footprint.
