Charlottesville, Virginia – Dominion Virginia Power volunteers will be in Charlottesville this week doing general repairs and helping with energy efficiency installations to three homes, highlighting the recently expanded EnergyShare program implemented locally by the Local Energy Alliance Program (LEAP). The homes selected are part of an ongoing collaboration between LEAP and the Albemarle Housing Improvement Program (AHIP). The work is part of a five-week volunteer blitz where Dominion will weatherize more than 10 homes and several shelters across Virignia to highlight the expanded EnergyShare program which helps qualifying elderly, income-qualified residents and military veterans and disabled Virginians.
