A Special Event on Energy Efficiency Day (October 5, 2017)

What: Reduce & Produce: Pairing Energy Efficiency and Solar

Join us for a round of “lightning talks” about clean energy solutions including solar for your home and business. Local experts will give short, 5-minute presentations, and guests will move among tables in a fast-paced, fun event. Q&A will be right after the event. Light refreshments provided by Feast! and Champion Brewing Company.

Guests will have the opportunity to:

  • Get tips to reduce electricity use.
  • Hear about environmental impact of fossil fuels, how to go solar, and alternatives to solar.
  • Find out the costs, financing, and returns on going solar.
  • Ask our experts questions about energy conservation and clean energy.

When: Thursday, October 5th, 2017 at 5:30 – 7 pm (Lightning talks start at 6)

Where: CitySpace on the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville

Cost: Free event hosted by LEAP
