Belmont/Carlton Roundtable 2/10 – Help Cville Win $5 Million
LEAP is gearing up with the City of Charlottesville for a first-of-its-kind energy efficiency campaign as part of “Energize!Charlottesville” and our community’s effort to win the $5 million Georgetown University Energy Prize. (Read more from the Daily Progress)
We’re planning to start our campaign in the Belmont/Carlton neighborhood and need local residents’ help.
We are inviting all Belmont and Carlton neighbors to participate in a Citizens’ Roundtable during which we will present our concept for a focused neighborhood campaign to promote energy savings — and solicit your feedback and suggestions.
Please join us Tuesday evening, February 10th, from 6:30pm to 8pm at Sojourners United Church of Christ (1017 Elliott Ave).
Light refreshments will be provided, and we encourage you to pass this invitation on to anybody you think might be interested. We would love to have representatives from the Neighborhood Association and Clark Elementary PTO.
You can RSVP here.
